The Tūhura Aotearoa Discover NZ Stories App (available free on the Apple App and Google Play Stores) provides:
Easily accessible, geo-located video or audio-streaming stories
Connection between residents and visitors to Aotearoa/New Zealand
Engaging, educational, and memorable stories that have shaped the country
There are currently approximately 700 videos on the App. Because of its GPS locating feature, the App is a "bottom up" local/community focused approach to storytelling.
Discover NZ Stories/Tūhura Trust owns the App and is a registered Charity in Aotearoa New Zealand. Profits from the Trust will be channelled into helping New Zealand communities capture and pass on their key stories.
